Abstract:
PURPOSE: To quickly and accurately deal with the faults caused by the transmis sion errors by always diagnosing the factors of these faults in a simple way, in a short time and with accuracy.
CONSTITUTION: In a digital key telephone system 1, the occurrence of transmission errors is always monitored by a network interface unit 1.2. Then, a transmission error if detected is reported to a main CPU 11 a of a control unit l1, and the CPU 11a stores the detection information on the transmission error in an error occurrence table 111c contained in a storage circuit 11c. Then the detection information is read out of the table 11c and sent to a digital telephone set 3 in response to a dial input specific number of the set 3. Then the detection information is shown on an LCD display device 3a.
