Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a digital magnetic tape having a fast forward image- reproducing format by arranging magnetic tracks consisting of plural synchronizing blocks(SBs) in parallel with each other, thereby constituting a video signal zone. CONSTITUTION: A video signal zone extended along the longitudinal direction of the magnetic tape is constituted of plural magnetic tracks 0 to 53 extending in the lateral direction in parallel. These magnetic tracks 0 to 53 are constituted in plural SBs 21 to 155. In the case of reproducing an image at three times a normal speed by the constitution, the data of the SBs 26 to 25 and the data of the SBs 46 to 53 on the track 18 are read out in a route A1, to be scanned by a magnetic head A of a video tape player. On the other hand, the data of the SBs 21 to 40 on the track 21 are read out in a route B1 to be scanned by a magnetic head B. Consequently data on forty-seven SBs in total can be read out by the magnetic heads A, B.
