Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain accurate cumulative data without ignoring a count signal inputted to a digital counter by adding the count data of the digital counter when the power source is turned on to data read in by a memory read circuit. CONSTITUTION:When the power source is turned on, the memory read circuit 4 reads data out of a nonvolatile memory 3 continuously and when the same data continues plural times, the data is used as the value of the read circuit 4. If a vehicle starts running in said operation, a signal generator 1 outputs a pulse signal. The digital counter 2 counts the pulse signal and outputs the counted value to an adder circuit 5. Then when the read circuit 4 finishes reading data out of the memory 3, the data is outputted to the adder circuit 5 and a read end signal is outputted. The adder circuit 5 adds both input data to each other with said signal and sends a preset signal to the counter 2, so that the data is regarded as the initial value of the counter 2. Therefore, when the power source is turned on, the accurate pulse signal 1 can be counted from the start of the running of the vehicle.
