In this digital printing machine, image data, which are read out from a media readout system 18, are image-processed by a transfer image generator 24, and transferred to respective printers 28, 30 and 32 so as to be printed in such a manner that the kind of a print, the size of the print, etc. are set. A printing condition detecting device 46 monitors printing conditions of the respective printers 28, 30 and 32, and a printing time calculator 42 constantly calculates the required time for the rest of printing, so as to display it on a display unit.
