To provide a digital receiver that receives and demodulates a digital modulation signal and can demodulate the received digital signal with correct polarity.
The digital receiver is provided with a demodulation means 19 that detects an intermediate frequency outputted from frequency conversion means consisting of a plurality of stages, a polarity control means 20 that controls the polarity of the digital signal demodulated by the demodulation means 19, and a frequency control means 21 that individually controls each oscillating frequency of each local oscillator being a component of each stage of the frequency conversion means as to whether each oscillating frequency is to be set higher or lower than the reception frequency. The frequency control means 21 is configured to control the polarity control means 20 so that the polarity of the digital signal is normal depending on the setting state of each oscillating frequency of each local oscillator.
