Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate the addition of break by writing temporarily a silent data to a storing means instead of a sound data reproduced from a recording medium in accordance with the instruction of a instructing means. CONSTITUTION:By a program ROM 2, a program stipulating the operation of a CPU 1 is stored, the sound data is stored to a hard disk 12. Then, the sound stored to the disk 12 is segmented to plural parts, the area storing an individual control track constituted by arranging the identifying information at every track in order of the reproducing of an event is provided. When the starting point and the finishing point of the soundless part are specified to this temporary storing means from the instructing means, the inserting position and the length of the silent part are stored. At this time, a zero data is stored to the prescribed area of the disk 12, is read out, and the silent data is outputted and the silent part of an optional length can be inserted to the optional position between the segmented sounds. Thus, the break is added easily. These operation are controlled automatically by a DMA or HD controller 10, 11.
