Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain error correction even at an editing section and to improve a sound quality by decoding by a first editing detecting signal, adding an error detection flag determined by the number of progress blocks from an editing point, executing the correction and executing the editing processing with the number of the progress blocks. CONSTITUTION:When a first editing detecting circuit 15 detects an editing point from reproduction data, the number of blocks is counted by a block number counting circuit 20, and when a second error code added at the time of recording is laid across the editing point, the position considered to be an error in the second error code by a decoding means 19 is determined in accordance with the output of the block number counting circuit 20 and the data at the determined position are decoded as an error based on the second error code. When the decoding cannot be executed by the decoding means 19 or the output of the block number counting circuit 20 becomes a prescribed value, a second editing detecting signal is outputted from a second editing detecting circuit 23 and at least one side of first and second editing detecting signals is supplied to the control of the editing processing.
