Abstract:
To provide a digital signage device and a digital signage system that transmit disaster information based on location of installation to a user having a portable terminal.SOLUTION: A main body unit (110) of a digital signage device comprises: a display screen (111) that displays information; a first communication unit (131) capable of transmitting and receiving information by long-distance radio communication; a second communication unit (132) capable of transmitting information by short-range radio communication; a position information reception unit (133) that receives information for identifying a location of installation; an accumulation unit (134) that accumulates electric power; a power supply unit (135) for receiving a supply of commercial power from outside; and a control unit (137) that stops display of the display screen and makes disaster information be delivered from the second communication unit to a portable terminal (153) by using the electric power in the accumulation unit in a case disaster information near the location of installation is received via the first communication unit and the supply of commercial power to the power supply unit has ceased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
