Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reversible compression of an error signal to be performed efficiently.
SOLUTION: With regard to the error signal performing irreversible compression encoding with a voice signal, a bit system at an identical bit position of each sample is made a one bite symbol every frame (in Figure, four bits are shown by hexadecimal each), symbols from a first sequence of a non-zero symbol before the next non-zero symbol appears are made into a group, the number Nn of the non-zero symbols and the number Nz of zero symbols are made a control code of one bite (a shadow is attached in Figure), the non-zero symbol of the group follows that, and made a code of the group. Similar encoding is performed every group.
