Abstract:
PURPOSE: To record data in a recording medium already recorded without hindrance.
CONSTITUTION: Data already recorded in a recording medium is read, and an ID signal for discriminating the number of samples of the data is taken out by a reproduced signal processing section 26. The taken ID signal is supplied to a recorded signal processing section 39 and a fs system clock generation PLL section 33. A clock is generated in the fs system clock generation PLL section 33 basing on the supplied ID signal as a reference, an audio signal sampled by using the generated clock is processed by the recorded signal processing section 39, and the supplied ID signal and the number of samples shown by the ID signal are recorded in a post-recording region of the recording medium.
