Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a digital signal processor which uses a library of predetermined instructions stored in a ROM.
CONSTITUTION: To execute instructions as a program, the digital signal processor uses the library of predetermined instructions stored in the ROM that a user can access through a sequencer 64. Further, this processor preferably replenishes an on-board instruction ROM 90 with the previously stored instructions. The user may includes a programmable instruction RAM 92.
