Abstract:
PURPOSE: To require only single form connection modules by providing one preexchange module in place of extended modules for completely exchanging and connecting the initial output terminal of the preexchange module to the relevant input terminal of the final exchange module. CONSTITUTION: A base unit is composed of one preexchange module and one final exchange module. A system is extendable I*N stages to i=2,3.... One another basic unit and further one each preexchange module are installed parallel to the base unit at the time of structural change from N into 2N. Preexchange is only performed on matrix columns but not performed on matrix output terminals. The initial output terminal of the preexchange module VVM is connected to the above input terminal of the final exchange module EVM. The head information filter KF of the final exchange module EVM processes one of other parts of head information for the final exchange to one matrix output terminal.
