PURPOSE: To easily set a different ringer tone color from each terminal equipment by detecting a key depressed at feeding start, storing its information to a tone color memory, generating and outputting a ringer tone with a ringer tone color corresponding to the information stored at an incoming call.

CONSTITUTION: When feeding is started to a power supply circuit 8, the information of a key depressed in a key 7 at that point of time is detected by a key information detection section 12 and the key information detected bh the key information detection section 12 is written in a tone color memory 13. when a generation command of a ringer tone comes from a PBX, a module task generating the ringer tone is called and key information stored in the tone color memory 13 is read and it is discriminated to which of keys NO1-NOn the key corresponds. A ringer tone generating section 14 generates a ringer tone interrupted in the interrupt pattern assigned to a trunk line ringer corresponding to each key NO.
