Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate interference from a conventional analog television signal in the case of receiving a digital television signal and also to reduce the occurrence of distortion even over a wide gain control range. SOLUTION: This tuner is provided with a tuner part 1 which performs frequency conversion of a television signal into a 1st intermediate frequency signal that is an intermediate frequency signal of television and an intermediate frequency circuit part 2 which performs frequency conversion of the 1st intermediate frequency signal into a 2nd intermediate frequency signal, provides the intermediate frequency circuit part with an adjacent band attenuating means 21 on a preceding state of a 2nd mixer and attenuates a band level of a channel that adjoins the band of the 1st intermediate frequency signal 60 dB more than a band level of the 1st intermediate frequency signal.
