Title:
DIGITAL-VIDEO EDITING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3495767
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To appropriately detect an absent frame and to input it again by identifying the absent frame by using frame number information, that is extracted from a video signal, rewinding analog video information and replenishing the absent information.
CONSTITUTION: A frame fetching/digitizer part 2 converts an analog (A) frame of an original video signal 1 into a digital (D) signal, and a compressing part 4 compresses a signal and outputs it. After the compression D signal has been stored on a hard disk(HD) 5 or a tape, etc., a decoding part 6 decodes it, and a D video editing part 7 performs various types of D video editing. The D signal after finishing the edition is compressed again by the part 4, stored on the HD 5, etc., and fetched again from the HD 5, etc., to the part 6, and A video signal after editing is outputted from a D/A converter 9. The signal is recorded on a medium A, such as a VCR and a laser disc. With this, an absent frame is detected appropriately and can be inputted again.
