Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain display gradation proper to each image as a whole by checking a barium part of display gradation conversion data optimum to each image for its contrast by a threshold level indicating a maximum contrast so as to display gradation conversion data thereby uniformulizing the display gradation of the barium part of the data.
CONSTITUTION: The equipment is provided with a barium concentration designation means 20 designating a range representing a barium concentration area to specify a barium part in image data and with a maximum contrast threshold level designation means 21 to designate the maximum contrast threshold level of display gradation conversion data in order to display the gradation of the barium part (barium concentration area) designated by the barium concentration area designation means 20 uniformly. Then the contrast is compared with the threshold level with respect to the barium concentration area (barium part) designated in advance and the threshold level is applied to the display gradation data in excess of the threshold level to suppress the contrast as the display gradation conversion data of the barium part.
