Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a digitizer tablet having an improved cooling device which radiates heat effectively so that a user does not touch a hot spot.

CONSTITUTION: This tablet has the base 12 coupled with the heat sink 14, and this base includes a plane part surrounding the heat sink. The heat sink is formed by being set back from the flat part and has a flat top surface, on which a heat pad 46 Ii mounted. A plannar 30 is arranged on the base and plural heat generating modules are mounted on the reverse surface of the plannar. Those modules are pressed against the heat pad and the heat is conducted from the modules to the heat sink through the heat pad. On the lower side of the heat sink, plural cooling pins are arranged so that a human body touches it except the tip part, and the pins are cooled by natural convection and radiation.
