Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new compound having excellent insecticidal and acaricidal actions.
SOLUTION: This compound is represented by formula I {Z is oxygen, sulfur, NR4 (R4 is H or a 1-3C alkyl); Y is oxygen, sulfur or NH; X is chlorine or bromine; R2, R3 or R10 are each a halogen or a 1-3C (halo) alkyl; t is 0-2; R1 is a group of formula II [A is a (substituted) heterocyclic group; R5, R6 and R7 are each H, a 1-3C alkyl or the like; (p) is 0-6] or the like}, e.g. 3,5- dichloro-4-(2-(2-(4-chlorophenyl)-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl)ethoxy)-1-(3,3-dichloro-2- propenyloxy)benzene. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting, e.g. a compound of formula III with a compound of the formula L-CH2CH=CX2 (L is a halogen, mesyloxy or tosyloxy).
