Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact optical inspection equipment for the feature amount in the shape of a long corrugated flexible tube being produced continuously while advancing in the axial direction of the tube.
SOLUTION: The dimension measuring equipment for long corrugated flexible tube comprises an illuminating means 2, a CCD camera 3 with shutter for picking up the two-dimensional still image of a long corrugated flexible tube being produced continuously while advancing, a control unit 4 for the CCD camera 3 with shutter, and an image processor 5 for calculating the pitch and the height of crest of the corrugated flexible tube by subjecting a still image thus obtained to binarization and feature amount extraction and transferring the processing results to a production system.
