To provide a dimmer having an excellent external appearance and improving operability of a rotational operation member disposed in each cover individually covering a plurality of volumes to set a dimmer rate.
A dimmer 1 includes: an attachment frame 2 having an opening window 2a; rotary volumes 4, 6, covers 15, 17, rotational operation members 21, 23; and a rotation transmitting means 32. The volumes 4, 6 are attached to the back surface of the attachment frame 2. The covers 15, 17 formed larger than the outer shape of the volumes 4, 6 are disposed in opposition to the opening window 2a to individually cover the volumes 4, 6. The rotational operation members 21, 23 are disposed rotatably at the center part of each of the covers 15, 17 deviated in the direction in which the covers 15, 17 are put side by side for a volume shaft 8 protruding ahead of the opening window 2a. With the rotation transmitting means 32, the volume shaft 8 and the rotational operation members 21, 23 disposed at the covers 15, 17 each having the center part deviated from the volume shaft 8 are connected and thereby the rotation of the rotational operation members 21, 23 is transmitted to the volume shaft 8.
