The light control system has a control unit for performing the light control of the illumination load to preset brightness according to the time zone. The human body detector is provided for detecting the presence of a human body in space irradiated with the illumination load, a crime prevention time zone is set for lighting the illumination load for preventing crime based on the detection signal of the human body detector to the control unit, the light of the illumination load is controlled so that the light reaches preset brightness according to the time zone when the detection signal of the human body detector is obtained at a time zone other than the crime prevention time zone, and the illumination load is lit for preventing crime when the detection signal of the human body detector is obtained at the crime prevention time zone.
