To provide a dimpled tube shaping device for manufacturing at high speed a given length of dimpled tube having predetermined length of areas with no dimples at both ends, and its method.
The dimpled tube shaping device 1 comprises a tube shaping part 6 for shaping tube from a band material, a dimple shaping part 3 for forming dimples in the band material before shaping the tube, a measuring part 4 for measuring the displacement of the tube, and a cutting part 5 for cutting the tube at a predetermined length in accordance with data in the measuring part after shaping the tube. The dimple shaping part has a pair of dimple shaping rollers consisting of a protrusion shaping roller and a recess shaping roller for forming the dimples, a roller moving unit for moving the protrusion shaping roller and a roller movement driving part for driving the roller moving unit.
