To provide a dip coating device which can apply a coating treatment liquid uniformly and easily even to an object of heavy weight and complicated shape to be treated such as disk brake, as well as a dip coating method using the dip coating device.

This dip coating device comprises the following components: a soaking tank for soaking an object to be treated into the coating treatment liquid; a rotating means which can remove and send airborne the excess liquid sticking to the object by centrifugal force by rotating the object, centering around the virtual center axis of the object; and an air blasting means which can further remove the excess liquid sticking to the object by blasting the air to the object as rotated by the rotating means. A dip coating method is also provided.
