Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate the exchanging work of a refractory tube by disposing inductor protecting refractory materials formed at separate member at both sides of the tube, and containing inductors horizontally therein, thereby lifting the molten material of lower position. CONSTITUTION:Inductor protecting refractory materials 2a formed separately from a refractory tube 3a are disposed at both sides of the tube 3a having a molten material passing hole 4a therein. A pair of inductors 1a are contained and mounted horizontally in the materials 2a. Thus, the lowest operating height of an electromagnetic induction force can be reduced, and the molten material of lower position can be lifted. The tube 3a can be readily exchanged.
