Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a direct-acting actuator and a device having the same compact in size.SOLUTION: A direct-acting actuator 30 comprises: an inner member 32 which is externally fit to a rotating shaft 2 so as to be relatively non-rotatable and movable to an axial direction; an outer member 34 which is externally fit to the inner member 32 so as to be integrally rotatable together with the inner member 32 via a direct-acting conversion mechanism 35 which converts a rotational motion to a linear motion; and brake force impartment means 36 for imparting a brake force which withstands the rotation of the rotating shaft 2 to the outer member 34. The brake force impartment means 36 imparts the brake force to the outer member 34 so as to generate relative rotation with respect to the inner member 32. The direct-acting conversion mechanism 35 makes the inner member 32 generate thrust in an axial direction according to the brake force which is imparted to the outer member 34, and moves the inner member 32 along the rotating shaft 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
