Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a polyester direct blow molded hollow product which is suitable for a packaging and requires gas barrier properties and transparency.
CONSTITUTION: To obtain a polyester direct blow molded hollow product which has an oxygen permeability not exceeding 1.5cc.mm.day.atm and light transmission of belly part of a hollow molded product of at least 85% and is superior in gas barrier properties and transparency by making use of copolymer polyester resin of a 90-40mol.% ethylene-2,6-naphthalate unit and 10-60mol.% ethylene isophthalate unit.
