Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a direct current electricity transmitting bypass switch by which high arc voltage is provided with compact structure.
CONSTITUTION: Three circuit breakers 2a, 2b, 2c are connected in series to give multipoint shutting structure. Consequently, arc voltage becomes about three times of that in the case of one point shutting and commutation is done swiftly. Also, since each shutting point 2a, 2b, 2c are arranged in the tank 1 in the way the longitudinal direction of each shutting point 2a, 2b, 2c is arranged in parallel to the center axis of a tank and three center axes compose the vertex of a triangle, the obtained bypass switch becomes compact and the necessary installation surface area can be lessened.
