Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for a direct-injection engine capable of executing cooling control that reflects the necessity for cooling a fuel cooler, an intercooler and a turbo cooling passage individually and thus appropriately cooling any of the cooling targets.SOLUTION: Based on an inlet temperature Tcomp of a compressor, cold mode cooling control and warm mode cooling control are switched. In the cold mode cooling control, cooling control of a fuel cooler and an intercooler is executed by priority, so as to promote vaporization of fuel supplied to an injector and treat frozen condensation water in the intercooler. In the warm mode cooling control, cooling control of the turbo cooling passage is executed by priority, so as to prevent seizure of a bearing section of a turbocharger during stop of an engine and prevent overheating of a housing of a turbine during an operation of the engine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
