Abstract:
PURPOSE: To hold the continuity of phase data and to perform acceleration when phase change amount data are switched by frequency changeover for the phase accumulator of multiple bits.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of frequency changeover, the phase accumulators 14A and 14B are reset, new data ΔPHA2 after the changeover are initially set to one phase accumulator 14A and '0' is initially set for the data of the other phase accumulator 14B. Thereafter, the data 2ΔPHA2 are accumulatively added and alternately outputted and waveforms are generated.
