Abstract:
To provide a direction changing device of a conveyor which shortens standby time of a conveyed object, and can improve conveyance efficiency and sorting efficiency.SOLUTION: There is provided a direction changing device of a conveyor in which a plurality of rows of direction changing rollers 14 aligned at predetermined intervals in a width direction of a main conveyance path is provided in a conveyance direction. The direction changing rollers 14 are horizontally turned in a conveyance direction of a branch conveyance path from the conveyance direction of the main conveyance path, then a series of reciprocative-turning operation of returnably turning to the conveyance direction of the main conveyance path from the branch conveyance path is synchronously performed for each of the rows by turn operation means, and the turn operation means sequentially starts the series of reciprocative-turning operation from the row of the direction changing rollers 14 on the upstream side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
