PURPOSE: To improve the visibility and safety by providing a winker additionally on the rear side of a rear view mirror leaving a winker close to a headlamp as it is, thereby placing the winker at the outermost part of an automobile so as to be seen well and confirmed at the eye height.

CONSTITUTION: A direction indicator (winker) 7 is disposed also on the rear side of the rear view mirror 2 of an automobile so as to be seen easily from the front. That is, a bulb 4 is disposed inside a mirror body 3 to form the direction indicator 1. This dissolves the problem of an existing direction indicator disposed right close to a headlamp and therefore not seen well enough because of the glaring light to present a problem on traffic safety.
