Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a directive device enabling wefts consumed by respective looms to be timely replenished at proper amounts even in the case that plural looms are installed.
CONSTITUTION: The directive device in the case that plural looms are installed and plural kinds of wefts are used by the respective looms, is equipped with the following means: (1) an operating situation detective means to input the respective operating situations of these looms, (2) a means to operate the feed combination patterns for plural kinds of wefts to be fed for the respective looms and the feed timings for such patterns based on the weft lengths necessary for one-stitch for the respective looms, the ratio for the plural kinds of wefts to be used, the amount of yarns wound per cheese, loom operation rates and estimated loom operating efficiencies, (3) a means to measure feed times for the respective looms based on the operating situations thereof inputted from the means 1, and (4) a directive means for the respective looms so as to replenish the feed combination patterns derived from the means 2 before the feed times measured by the means 3 reach the respective feed timings calculated by the means 2.
