Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain oriented silicon steel sheet capable of forming a dense insulating coating without adding a chromium compound.SOLUTION: The grain oriented silicon steel sheet having an insulating coating is constituted of at least one kind of metal elements selected from Al, Mg, Ni, and Mn, and phosphorus, silicon, and oxygen. The area ratio of pores in the cross section of the insulating coating is less than 10%. When a HPOsolution of 85 mass% is used as the reference of aP chemical shift, the insulating coating includes a chemical structure so that theP nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum of the insulating coating shows theP chemical shift at -32 to -38 ppm concerning the phosphorus.SELECTED DRAWING: None
