Abstract:
PURPOSE:To relax a stiff feeling when a directly coupled mechanism is released while a car is driven running at a high speed, by changing the reference value as a variable varying in relation to a car speed. CONSTITUTION:A governor valve 56 is provided as a means, outputting an index signal representing a car speed, so as to output a governor pressure Pg to a pilot oil path 61 from the governor valve 56, and the pilot oil path 61 is connected to pilot paths 68, 69, 70 of the first, second and the third shift valves 64, 66, 67 and to a port 82g of an idle release valve 82. In this way, a directly coupled mechanism, though it is a device able to perform directly coupled operation from a low speed range of small running resistance, enables a stiff feeling to be relaxed when the directly coupled mechanism is released while a car is driven running at a high speed by increasing the pressure, which releases the directly coupled mechanism, as the running resistance increases, because a reference value can be changed as a variable varying in relation to the car speed.
