To provide a method for manufacturing a directly drawn type original plate for lithographic printing in which coating stability of a coating liquid is improved when an image receiving layer is applied for coating and an enough hard film can be made under a mild drying condition and to obtain thereby the directly drawn type original plate for lithographic printing by which a number of sheets of printed articles with no ground smear, no dropout, strain, etc., and a clear image can be printed.
The directly drawn type original plate for lithographic printing is manufactured by coating a water-resistant substrate with a composition at least comprising at least one compound among a metal alcoholate expressed by Ti(OR10)4 and Al(OR10)3 (wherein R10 is an alkyl group of 2-5C), a chelate compound obtained by reacting the metal alcoholate with β-diketones and/or β-diketoesters and a partial hydrolyzate obtained by reacting the chelate compound with water, a compound which can form a resin by bonding metal atoms and/or semi-metal atoms through an oxygen atom, an organic polymer containing a group which can form a hydrogen bonding with the resin, a hydrophilic organic solvent and water and drying it to form the image receiving layer.
