Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for removing dirt from a heat exchanger and a heat transfer pipe, removing dirt adhering to the inner and outer surfaces of the heat transfer pipe, and preventing deterioration of heat transfer performance.SOLUTION: The inner and outer surfaces of a heat transfer pipe 4 provided in a heat exchanger 22 are coated with a coating material 11 having thermofusion property, by high-temperature fluid flowing in the heat transfer pipe 4, the coating material 11 is fused and removed from the inner and outer surfaces of the heat transfer pipe 4, and thereby dirt 10 adhering to the surface of the coating material 11 is removed from the heat transfer pipe 4. Consequently, even when a situation where the heat exchanger 22 is not used for a long term occurs, dirt 10 can be removed in activation of the heat exchanger 22, and heat transfer performance of the heat exchanger 22 can be prevented from deteriorating.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
