Title:
DISAGGREGATION OF WET PAPER STRENGTH-INCREASED PAPER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3254741
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To efficiently obtain recovered regenerated pulp in a shortened treatment time without causing water pollution by treating wet paper strength increased paper with a solution containing an enzyme, and subsequently subjecting the treated paper to a disaggregation treatment using chemicals such as an oxidizing agent, an acid, an alkaline substance, and a disaggregation-accelerating agent.
CONSTITUTION: Wet paper strength-increased paper containing a wet paper strength increasing agent such as a polyamide epichlorohydrin resin, melamine- formalin resin or urea-formalin resin is cut into approximately 1-2cm square pieces, immersed in a phosphoric acid-citric acid buffer solution (pH: 5.5), mixed with an enzyme (e.g. cellulase), shaken at 50°C for 2hr, and subsequently subjected to a disaggregation treatment using chemicals such as an oxidizing agent (e.g. sodium hypochlorite), an acid (e.g. sulfuric acid), an alkali (e.g. potassium hydroxide), and a disaggregation-accelerating agent to efficiently produce the recovered regenerated pulp in a largely shortened disaggregation treatment time without causing the troubles of environmental pollution such as water pollution.
