Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disaster prevention hood excellent in mechanical properties such as strength and elongation, cushioning properties, flame proofness, and self-extinguishing properties, and having sufficient buoyancy against water when mounted on a human head.SOLUTION: A disaster prevention hood includes: a head protection part having a buoyant obtained by molding a rubber foam; a pair of side pad belts provided in the head protection part; a belt support part for supporting the side pad belts; and a pair of trunk protection part extended to the end of the head protection part. The rubber foam may be a chloroprene rubber foam that is obtained by foaming and vulcanizing a chloroprene rubber polymer composition. There may be provided a buoyant having the rubber foam having an apparent density of 0.1-0.9 g/cminside the disaster prevention hood.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
