A fire signal input part 11 receives fire signals from a fire sensor or a transmitter connected to this disaster prevention receiver. A fire information storage part 12 stores the fire signals inputted by the fire signal input part 11 or the state of a switch for fire settlement provided in the operation part of the disaster prevention receiver. Then, a fire settlement judgement part 13 decides whether or not to judge that the fire generation is settled based on the information stored in the fire information storage part 12 and informs a speech content selection part 14 of the fire information of the fire settlement or the fire generation. Further, the speech content selection part 14 reads the voice synthesis signals corresponding to a message at the time of the fire generation or a voice message at the time of the fire settlement from a speech content storage part 15 by the fire information received from the fire settlement judgement part 13 and outputs them to a speech synthesis signal output part 18.
