To facilitate construction of a tiled roof having a disaster preventive function.
There is provided a disaster preventive fitting which is integrally formed of a fixing member 2 to be fixed to a roof substrate W and an erect member 3 located on either a front or a rear edge of the fixing member 2. The erect member 3 has an engaging aperture 4 formed therein, and a tile 9 having an engaging projection 12 formed on a rear surface on a head side is slid downward such that the head side of the tile 9 is superposed on a tail side of the tile 9 in a lower stage, whereby an engaging projective portion 14 is automatically inserted into the engaging aperture 4 formed in the disaster preventive fitting 1. Then the head side of each tile 9 is fixed to the roof substrate W via the engaging projection 12 and the disaster preventive fitting 1, and the tail side is pinched and fixed by the fixed head portion of the upper-stage tile 9 and the roof substrate W. Thus the head side of each tile 9 in a roofing state on the roof is prevented from vertically rolling, and in this manner the disaster preventive function is imparted to the completed tiled roof.
