Abstract:
To enable easy assembly of a cover component to a caliper.SOLUTION: A disc brake is equipped with a mounting member, a pair of brake pads, a caliper, a cover member, and a locking member. The caliper comprises: a cylinder part having a cylinder bore in which a piston is disposed for moving one of the pair of brake pads; a bridge part extending outward from the cylinder part across an outer circumferential surface of a disc; a plurality of claw parts that are formed on the extension distal end sides of the bridge part and disposed to face the cylinder part; and a recessed part that is provided between the claw parts, has an opening at a radially inner end of the disc, and is formed opposite to the cylinder bore. The locking member comprises a fixing part fixed to the cover member, and a plurality of locking pieces that extend from the fixing part in a direction inclined with respect to the moving direction of the piston and come into abutment on the inner surface of the recessed part with elastic force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 21
