Title:
DISC BRAKE DEVICE FOR BAR HANDLE VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001221266
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide suitable braking force to front and rear wheels when operating an interlocking type brakes system.

A caliper body 15 with oppositely arranged two sets of four divided friction pads 16, 16, 17, and 17 is used in a rear wheel disc brake. The divided friction pads 17 and 17 for a single type brake system are energized to a disc radial direction inner side and a disc rotating-out side by their pad springs 38. The divided friction pads 16 and 16 for the interlocking type brake system are energized to the disc radial direction inner side and the disc rotating- out side by their pad springs 38. By this, operation of the divided friction pads 16 and 16 for the interlocking type brake system is built up slower than a rear wheel brake.
