Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring rotor disc brake device for a vehicle, capable of facilitating wheel attachment and detachment.SOLUTION: A disc brake device for a vehicle includes: ring-type rotor 16 that is secured on an inner periphery side of a wheel rim; and a caliper 18 that is fastened to a carrier 14 for rotatably holding a wheel around a rotation axis via an axle hub 12 and sandwiches the rotor from its inside. A guide mechanism is provided which allows the caliper to move toward the rotation axis when the caliper fastening with the carrier is released, and the caliper is positioned inside of an inner peripheral surface of the rotor in view of a direction where the rotation axis extends when the caliper moves. Releasing the caliper fastening allows the caliper to be positioned at a position where the caliper does not interfere with the rotor, and allows wheel attachment and detachment to be facilitated.
