Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake capable of easily assembling a protection member for protecting a torque receiving surface of a caliper from abutment with a brake pad through a simple assembling work.SOLUTION: A disc brake device 10 comprises a base part 15a arranged to be extended in a rotor axial direction; a torque receiving part 15b extending from the base part 15a and arranged between a torque receiving surface 12c1 of a caliper 12 where torque is transmitted from a pair of brake pads 13 moved toward a rotor peripheral direction that is a peripheral direction at the time of braking and an opposing surface 13a2 opposing against the torque receiving surface 12c1 of the pair of brake pads 13; a biasing part 15c extending from the base part 15a to generate a biasing force while being elastically deformed between the torque receiving surface 12c1 and a pad pin 14; and a protection member 15 inserted into the caliper 12 from a rotor radial outer direction acting as an outer peripheral side of the caliper 12 at a rotor radial direction toward the rotor radial inner direction acting as an inner peripheral side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
