Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling performance of a friction member of a disc brake pad for a railway vehicle.SOLUTION: A disc brake pad includes: a base plate 1; multiple support plates 7 which are matched to the base plate 1; and multiple friction members 6 fixed to the support plates 7. The base plate 1 includes multiple perforated lead-in parts 2 respectively having protrusions 3. Each support plate 7 is directly placed on the protrusion 3 thereby forming a gap 9 between the base plate 1 and the support plate 7.
