Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake capable of suppressing deformation of a seal groove of a cylinder member.SOLUTION: A caliper 15 is configured so that a cylinder member 71 in which a piston 63 is arranged is coupled to a bridge member 72 formed separately from the cylinder member 71 and extending from the cylinder member 71 to stride over a disc 11 and to press a friction pad 13. The bridge member 72 includes: a fixing portion 120 to which the cylinder member 71 is fixed; a bridge portion 121 extending from the fixing portion 120 in a disk axial direction to stride over an outer circumference of the disc 11; and a claw 122 extending from the bridge portion 121 in a disc radial direction and abutting on the friction pad 13. A protrusion 77 having an abutment surface 77a abutting on a claw 122-side of the fixing portion 120 of the bridge member 72 is formed on an outer circumference of the cylinder member 71 to protrude radially outward, the abutment surface 77a being arranged near a bottom 85 of the cylinder member 71 with respect to a seal groove 106.
