Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake pad of a disc brake for vehicle.SOLUTION: A brake pad 10 of a disc brake 1 for a vehicle 50 has a lining 11 and a rear plate 13. The lining 11 has a first cutout groove 15 from a surface in a radial direction of a disc rotor 3 toward the rear plate. The first cutout groove 15 is inclined to an opposite direction to a rotational direction of the disc rotor 3 in an advance direction of the vehicle 50. Also, the brake pad 10 is characterized in that the first cutout groove 15 and a first cutout groove 17 are provided in a horizontally symmetrical manner with respect to a central line of the brake pad 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
