Abstract:
There is provided a disk brake comprising: a piston (8) that presses a brake pad (3,4) to a disk rotor (2); and a caliper (1) at which the piston (8) is slidably provided through a piston seal (7), the caliper (1) making the piston (8) moved forward by hydraulic pressure, wherein the piston (8) is structured as that an anodized film layer (13) formed by an anodized treatment is formed on a surface of a piston base body (11) made of aluminum alloy, and a chromium plating layer (14) is directly laminated on a surface of the anodized film layer (13).
