Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake having improved reliability.SOLUTION: In a disc brake according to the present invention, a plurality of rotation control vertical grooves 22 are formed on a piston 18, a plurality of projecting portions 155 are formed on a fixed ramp 150, and relative rotation of the fixed lamp 150 to the piston 18 is controlled by fitting each projecting portion 155 of the fixed ramp 150 into each of the rotation control vertical grooves 22 of the piston 18. Accordingly, a load (F) applied to a contact region 180 in association with rotation control torque (T) to the piston 18, of the fixed ramp 150 can be reduced in comparison with a conventional rotation control structure. Thus, reliability in operating a parking brake and the like in particular can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
