PURPOSE: To suppress noises at the braking by locating a repulsion generation point in respect to braking force of a guide part on the side of a disc center compared to a disc tangential line passing a center of a brake cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: Pads 1 are opposed to each other across a disc. Both end ears 10 are engaged with a guide groove 9 of a guide part 3 in an axial direction of a disc. The pads are slidably supported in an axial direction. An outermost end of a torque receiving surface 3a of the guide part 3, that is a repulstion generation point A in respect to braking force is located on the center side of the disc compared to a tangential line L of the disc passing the center of a brake cylinder 4. Moment M1 generated by diamteral dislocation between the center of tangential force and the repulstion generation point A is directed equally to moment M2 of normal direction generated by components Fay, Fby Synthesized force of the moments M1 and M2 restricts an engagement point of the pads. Thus, rotational restriction of the pads is strengthened, and noises due to pad oscillation are suppressed.
